The Prophet Poetry Open Mic

Join Craven Arts Council & Gallery for an ekphrastic celebration of Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet, wrapping up our two month celebration of the 100th anniversary of the book. Participants are asked to create a work inspired by The Prophet, any original drawings or writings of Kahlil Gibran, or any of the artwork in the On Beauty: The Prophet exhibition, which they can then perform in the Main Gallery at Bank of the Arts on August 26th at 2pm. This event is open to original poetry, songs, dance, and other mediums, and free to participant or attend.
