For the past 40 years, the Craven Arts Council & Gallery has been the driving force behind the growth of a thriving arts culture in Craven County. An indispensable community resource, it provides visual and performing arts programming to local citizens, as well as to the region's expanding tourist market.
These programs are designed to appeal to and enrich every segment of our growing population. The Craven Arts Council provides a forum for artistic expression for local, national and international artists through its partnerships with many local organizations, schools, colleges and area businesses. Each year the Bank of the Arts gallery welcomes over 30,000 visitors. Additionally, thousands of visitors admire the Council's Sculpture Garden and enjoy performing arts made possible through the Craven Arts Council's sub-grant program.
In order to continue offering premier fine arts, the Craven Arts Council needs to increase the amount of support significantly from those who benefit the most: local private and corporate sources. To expand our partner base, we invite you to become a member in our organization by making a membership investment. Your dividends will include an ever-expanding array of available programs in the form of exhibitions, lectures, classes, workshops, concerts and performances that create an environment where the arts flourish. We ask you to consider the value of your support to the cultural enrichment of our community.

Memberships last one year from purchase date. Members may renew their membership earlier to extend their membership one year from expiration date.
All discounts only apply during an active membership.
Discounted tickets only apply to Craven Arts Council & Gallery events & programming. Discounts do not apply to tickets sold at Bank of the Arts on behalf of other organizations, including through the Community Box Office Program.
Not all events or classes will offer a membership discount. Please check the events webpage for details for each event.
5% Gallery discount cannot be combined with other discounts, including membership discounts for tickets.
Gallery discounts apply to artwork in the Bank of the Arts, unless stated otherwise.
Each membership level will receive one copy of each bi-monthly Luminary newsletter. Additional Luminaries may be purchased at $0.75 each.
