The North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program distributes funds for arts programming, primarily through local arts councils, to all 100 North Carolina counties. As the Designated County Partner for Craven County, the Craven Arts Council & Gallery works closely with more than a dozen deserving groups to help bring programs to the communities in our area.
Call 252-638-2577 to inquire about the application process for 2021-2022. Applicants must be part of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in good standing. The application deadline is 5:00 pm on August 31st, 2021. Applicants should contact the Craven Arts Council & Gallery prior to submission. |

The North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program provides art experiences to North Carolina communities. Using a per capita-based formula, the program provides funding for the arts in all 100 counties of the state through partnerships with local arts councils.
Applications are available for non-profit organizations whose purpose is to promote and develop diverse cultural arts programming in Craven County. The Craven Arts Council & Gallery accepts applications for the North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program. All organizations that received Grassroots Grants funding for FY 2020-2021 are required to submit their final report by June 15th, 2021. Reports must be submitted physically, either in person or by mail. If mailing a report, please call or email Craven Arts Council to ensure your report was delivered.
