Art³

The Craven Arts Council & Gallery is seeking entries for our small works exhibition, Art³. Open to artwork in any medium, style, and genre, so long as the work is smaller than 12”x12”x12”. This exhibition is open to all artists and offers the opportunity for them to present their work in the Main Gallery of the beautiful Bank of the Arts, a former bank constructed in the neo-classical style, that is now the home of Craven Arts Council & Gallery. Help us fill the gallery with as many artists and different kinds of art possible!
 
Entry Fee: $3
 
There will be five awards with a 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and a couple honorable mentions. Recipients of awards will be given a unique cube themed award.

Exhibition Dates:
Drop Off: October 4 & 5, 10am-5pm
ArtWalk Reception: October 11, 5pm-8pm (Awards at 6pm)
Pick Up: November 1 & 2, 10-am- 5pm

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it have to be a cube or a square?

Nope! Just under 12" x 12" 12"
Can I submit 3 pieces?
Nope! Only one piece per artist
Is the frame included in the size?
Yes!
I don't know if my piece will fit. Is there a way to find out?
Yes! We have an Art³ Cube at the Bank of the Arts and if your piece fits in the box completely, then it meets the size restrictions for the exhibition.
Do I have to preregister online?
No, but we encourage all artists to preregister online to secure your spot.
Is there a theme to the exhibition besides the size restrictions?
Nope!

Terms and Conditions
-All artwork must be smaller than 1’x1’x1’ (12”x12”x12”). This includes the frame or any other part of the work.
-CAC&G will accept as many entries as possible for the exhibition. However, artists are encouraged to preregister online to secure their place in the exhibition.
-2D work must be ready to hang and preferably wired.
-If work cant be dropped off, it must be delivered by October 5th and if you would like the work shipped back, you must enclose a return shipping label with your piece. Please ship all pieces to :

-All works will be offered at Craven Arts Council & Gallery’s standard 60/40 consignment rate, in favor of the artist. CAC&G will handle all credit card fees and sales taxes from their portion of the sale.
-All Artists will complete contract with Craven Arts Council & Gallery at time of drop off.
-All works will be insured by CAC&G for the duration of the exhibition, up to $2500.
-Youth Entries: Entries by artists under the age of 18 will be accepted with parental consent. Please contact CAC&G beforehand so that we can have a copy of the consent form ready at drop off.
-Any works left for more than 90 days after the close of the exhibition shall become the property of Craven Arts Council & Gallery, unless other arrangements are made in writing prior to the deadline.
