For the past 35 years, the Craven Arts Council & Gallery has been the driving force behind the growth of a thriving arts culture in Craven County.  An indispensable community resource, it provides visual and performing arts programming to local citizens, as well as the region's expanding tourist market. 

These programs are designed to appeal to, and enrich every segment of, our growing population.  The Craven Arts Council provides a forum for artistic expression for local, national and international artists through its partnerships with many local organizations, schools, colleges and area businesses.  Each year the Bank of the Arts gallery welcomes over 30,000 visitors.  Additionally, thousands of visitors admire the Council's Sculpture Park across from the Bank of the Arts and enjoy performing arts made possible through the Craven Arts Council's sub-grant program.
