This August, we proud to display the works of local photographer Jennings Mitchell in our Director’s Gallery. Kinston native and East Carolina University alumni, Jennings Mitchell, most enjoys photographing country scenes and people representing Eastern North Carolina’s beauty and heritage. Beginning his art career as the family photographer as a child, Mitchell has since expanded his portfolio with wedding photography, studio imaging, and architectural photography for company portfolios. “A perfect day for me,” Jennings explains, “is pulling off down country roads and seeing that ‘meant to be’ photograph-and bringing back in my camera as much of that as I can.”
