Craven Arts Council & Gallery operates a number of exhibitions throughout the year. Some are recurring, and some a new and unique each year. The following is provided as a general calendar of recurring exhibitions at Bank of the Arts.

Exhibition open to all members of Craven Arts Council & Gallery. Number of pieces is determined by membership level.

Main Gallery
Exhibition of over 12"x12" pieces, each feature one of eight colors. Artists register in February and March for a spot to participate. Artists are encouraged to register early to ensure their place in the exhibition.
Summer Biennial (occurring on even years)
Bank of the Arts National Juried Exhibition
Main Gallery
Our signature exhibition seeks the latest and greatest works from across the United States, and offers $5000 in prizes. As part of this exhibition, we also operate the Ekphrastic Poetry contest, asking poets to write poems about the work in the exhibition.

Coastal Photo Club
Main Gallery
Featuring members of our local photography club, this exhibition features phots from New Bern and around the world. Contact the Coastal Photo Club for more information on dates, rules, and other exhibition guidelines.

Mum's the Word
Director's Gallery
In conjuction with out local Mumfest, this exhibition seeks works featuring chrysanthemums. One selected winner will receive $250, and be the logo for the following year' Mumfest.

New Bern Artist Studio Tour Exhibition
Main Gallery
All artist participating in our annual New Bern Artist Studio Tour can enter one piece into a special exhibition, highlighting the tour and encouraging the public to participate in the tour the next day.

Mini Masterpieces
Main Gallery
This exhibition acts as our year end holiday sale, encouraging artists to enter small, sellable works.
