Craven's Crafts
Craven’s Crafts is a new program by Craven Arts, created as a bi-monthly workshop offering tutorials on simple crafts. Adding on to the variety of programming available, Craven’s Crafts promotes local involvement and interest in the arts for all ages. Sessions are either taught or supervised by Craven Arts Staff, all materials are provided, and a complimentary drink is available. Saturday, June 13th - Tie Dye Workshop!
Craven Arts Council & Gallery is proud to host a Tie Dye Workshop on Saturday, June 13th, at Bank of the Arts. Craven Arts will be hosting two sessions of this workshop, accessible for all ages. Session one will be held from 11 am to 12 pm and session two from 2 to 3 pm. Participants will create unique patterns and designs with all materials provided, and get to choose one of the following to tie dye; a handkerchief, a pair of socks, Craven Arts Tote Bag, or bring something of their own! Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members of Craven Arts. This event will be held the same day as New Bern Pride Prom, offering a interactive activity ahead of the evening celebrating culture, joy, and pride.
