2026 Congressional Art Exhibition

The Congressional Art Exhibition will return to Bank of the Arts for a reception on Saturday, April 25th at 2 pm. This exhibition is open to high schoolers within the North Carolina 3rd Congressional District, and offers students the opportunity to exhibit their work and win one of several cash prizes. Artwork awarded First Place will be included in an exhibition of winners from across the country in Washington, D.C., and the winner will be provided a stipend to travel to the national reception.
The theme for the 2026 Third District Congressional Art Competition is “Patriotism; America Turns 250”. Please see full rules and conditions below about entering this exhibition. Forms and Guidelines
*All artwork must have a signed copy of the "Student Release Form" attached to back of the artwork. Artists are also encouraged to provide CAC&G a second copy of the form at drop off.
*Maximum artwork size: 26"x26"x4", 15lbs in weight *All artworks must be wired for hanging. Winning artworks will ne to framed for hanging in the national exhibition. *Due to limited space, students must talk to their teachers about submitting to the exhibition. Each teacher is limited to 2 submissions per school. *The student's school must be within the boundary of the US Congressional District NC 3. If you are not within this boundary, please check with your local Congressional Representative's office for information about your local competition. |
