The Bernie Awards recognized outstanding contributions to the arts environment of Craven County. An artistic environment is born and thrives with the combination of excellence in art education, artistic endeavors, and support by those who appreciate the role of art in a vibrant community.
Nominations were solicited from the arts, education, business, and community leaders of Craven County. The decisions of the Bernie Award Committee and the Craven Arts Council is final. Winners were notified. The Bernie Awards were presented the evening of September 29, 2012, during the Craven Arts Festival. Download a nomination form
